Straightened Arrows Club News
7/25/09 - Step Outside Youth Shoot - any adult shooter that brings a child 17 and under to the 3D shoot will shoot the course for free. We will have a limited number of bows and related equipment to get the youngsters shooting. Also all concessions for everyone the entire day will be at no charge. So grab a kid or two and bring them to the Straightened Arrows 3D and Special Youth Shoot and enjoy the day thanks to the Ohio DNR for free!
6/27/09 - 3D shoot this weekend, come on out for a fun day on the range!
3/21/09 - The Fish and Game Club will be holding a "Cleanup Day" workparty from 9 AM to 5 PM, all club members are encouraged to attend to help make the work go faster. We will be raking leaves and doing general cleanup outdoors. We will also be stripping the old paint / wax from the clubhouse floor and other indoor cleanup activities. There will be a signup sheet at the club meeting this Thursday 3/12.
2/28/09 - The club held the first work party of the 2009 season. The target bags covers were replaced and re-stuffed. The new targets have been placed out on the course and the range is open to the archery club members. The second workday originally scheduled for Saturday 3/7 has been cancelled.
2/28/09 - The club will be holding the first work party of the year at 9 AM to get ready for the upcoming season. Come on out and help get things ready to go. Lunch will be provided.
1/1/09 - The archery club is preparing for another exciting season. New targets have been purchased and we are almost to 100% with the Rinehart targets. We have also been blessed with Chris Stanfield as our new webmaster. He built a new site and is seeing to the current information on that site. Check it out for yourself at www.straightenedarrows.org .
Our first club function for 2009 will be the annual meeting held on January 24th at 6:00 P.M. in the clubhouse. We will be ordering pizza after we take a head count and then will have a brief meeting to get ready for the season. Please attend this meeting if you are interested in membership, offices or anything pertaining to the archery club. 12/18/08 - As we approach the close of another successful season we would like to thank all club members, your continued efforts make this possible. We look forward to the 2009 season and would like to wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
